HERE 2 BE HUMAN
What is H2BH?
Here 2 Be Human (H2BH) is a relational coaching practice designed for individuals and teams longing to connect more deeply, more honestly, more humanly.
More than a coaching practice—it's a holistic movement methodology and embodied philosophy rooted in my years of choreographing partnering dances, teaching relational skills as a movement educator and cultivating relational intelligence through a somatic lens.
H2BH is part somatic therapy and part relational skill building.
Grounded in somatic wellness and relational awareness, H2BH integrates cognitive insights, embodied exploration, and the authentic, fluid dynamics of human connection. My years of experience guiding bodies through movement shaped my understanding of how deeply physical presence and relational attunement are intertwined, forming the foundations of trust, innovation and creativity.
At its core, Here 2 Be Human is about embodied relational transformation. It helps people move from being stuck in old patterns to living with presence, connection, and intention.

Hi, I’m Kat Hernandez
I’ve spent my life exploring what it means to be human: shifting identities, navigating integrity, stumbling through relationships, and wrestling with the big, messy question: What are we even doing here? Do I belong? Because, let’s be real—this human stuff hurts!
And through my healing journey, I learned tools along the way that not only made the path smoother but also deepened my connections and helped me build a life I love. Each lesson became a stepping stone, equipping me with insights and practices that continue to lead me forward.
I’m here to share that with you.
With several years of experience in dance education, relational skill building, ethnographic research, behavioral studies, community facilitation, holistic intentional living and the performing arts—I help people feel seen and heard, embrace both joy and pain, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate authentic, meaningful connections.
I’m a Cuban-American bilingual speaker, fluent in both Spanish and English, a certified Emotional Support Specialist trained in Relationship Coaching and a graduate from California Institute of the Arts in Dance.
I am a daughter, sister, friend, researcher, facilitator, coach, speaker, educator, artist and writer
—human enough to meet you where you’re at.
